Brooke & Mick, Bowral

Brooke & Mick’s wedding in beautiful Bowral. I joined my pals from The Wedding Cinematographer & Dan Cartwright Photography at Peppers Craigieburn, Bowral for a beautiful Autumn Wedding. It was colourful, fun and so relaxed. Brooke and Mick are the perfect example of opposites attract.

In our very first meeting, Brook and Mick made it very clear they wanted their ceremony to feel ‘them’. Not stuffy or cookie-cuter. Just. My. Style. So I got to work finding out what they loved and what made them happy. One of the main things, was of course their beautiful kiddies, Lil and Tom. So I arranged a ‘top secret’ Zoom interview with Lil and Tom to get the scoop. And my goodness did they produce some GOLD! I read during the ceremony a short transcript from our interview. There were laughs, tears, and some incredibly cheesy grins on two VIC’s (Very Important Children).

We had a mid-ceremony Ovalteenies snack while we signed the legal documents and a mini dance party as they exited as a MARRIED couple. Their ceremony and whole day reflected who they are, who they love, and what they love. It was a pleasure to be a part of it.

Steph made our day! She had the crowd excited and feeling the love before we arrived and set the tone for the rest of the evening.

The way she cleverly used information provided to write a ceremony that sounded as if she had known us for years was incredible. She perfectly represented us as a couple and went to the effort of including our kids for a truly personalised memory.

I had no concerns or stress on the day at all because Steph made us feel at ease through the whole planning experience.
